Supreme Court rules against EPA on property rights – Portland Business Journal

On Wednesday, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a much-awaited decision in Sackett v. Environmental Protection Agency. In short, the Court’s decision allows landowners to file challenges in court to EPA determinations regarding the presence of wetlands. Many anxiously awaited the decision to see whether the Court addressed EPA’s jurisdiction over wetlands, which the court ultimately did not address.
